This picture was taken a few hours after Brett was born! My best friend Dixie drove 5 hours to see us the moment she found out I was in labor.. and she just missed the birth by about 15 minutes! I was so happy to see her and couldn't believe she drove all that way just to stay for a few hours :)This past Friday, she and her fiance Ryan came through Fort Smith on their way to Fayetteville and stayed the night with us.. so Brett and I got to see her after 6 1/2 long months! She couldn't believe how much our boy has changed.
They are such good friends.. we wish we could see them more often! They live in Rector, AR which is in the furthest northeast county.. about as far away from Fort Smith as you can get and still be in the state! We are planning to visit them soon and explore the booming town of Rector :)
